John Kelso appointed as our new Head of Distributor Sales

John Kelso was born in a mixed livestock farm in Northern Ireland, where his family was passionate about breeding dairy and beef cattle and sheep. He lives now in Lancashire, England, with his wife and two daughters.

John has a broad experience as an agricultural consultant, and he has been part of large-scale agricultural projects in Russia and the Middle East.

“We are satisfied to have found the right person to fill the position as Head of Distributor Sales, a key piece for VikingGenetics’ strategic business plans in many different markets”, David Stenkær Ravnkilde, Chief Sales and Marketing Officer (CSMO), comments.

As a part of his tasks, the new Head of Distributor Sales will expand the knowledge of the product portfolio in new markets, build and maintain strong distributor relationships and support the development and implementation of VikingGenetics’ customer-oriented sales process.

“Breeding and livestock have been a close passion of mine, and the awareness of the importance of agricultural innovation, feeding and breeding in our industry”, Kelso says.

Good scientific backed research and innovation will be key to fuel our distributorship family and the willingness to work and plan together for success to us, our distributors, and most importantly their farming clients and their herds” he explains.

“I am thoroughly looking forward to working with all of you and getting to know you all, as well as bringing the due success to us, and the company in the future”, he adds.
