VR Vario

gNTM +31 genomic
VR Viljar x VR Faber x A Tosikko Et

If you are looking for a bull with a good body for your small cows, you should pay attention to VR Vario. With a body index on 123, VR Vario is a super choice for small cows. The daughters are not only big — they also have high production, calve easily, live long, milk fast, are easy to handle, and have great udders. As a bonus, they also have good health since VR Vario is positive in all health traits.

The dam Vanha-Uotilan Nätti comes from Jouni and Mari Lehtimäki, Eurajoki and was bought to our VikingEmbryo programme. Started in first lactation with high components but had an accident and was culled soon after calving. Produced 42 embryos that resulted in 16 calves born. The former daily plan bulls VR Fani and VR Serene are other ET-sires from this cow. The grand dam’s best lactation was 12,894 kg, fat 4.3% and protein 3.5% and so far, a total yield of 65,000 kg. She is still alive. Many dams in the pedigree have produced more than 50,000 kg in lifetime production in the 1980s and 1990s.

VR Hans

VR Hashtag x VR Armose x R David

Is animal health and survival an issue in your cattle production? Then VR Hans can help you improve all heath and survival traits in the next generation. Furthermore, he will give great solids in the milk with 126 in fat% and 117 in protein%. He will also provide good-looking cows a bit over average in size with some good feet & legs and great udders.

The dam is a very high producing old lady that takes up the fight with the young genomic females. VR Hans is her 5th calf and she is still producing in the herd. In average over 5 1/2 years, she has given 1,025 kg fat + protein with 3.71% in protein, 4.77% in fat and 12,085 kg milk. The granddam was also milking a bit more than five years so this is a strong family.
