VikingHolstein

VH Nader

gNTM +43 genomic
(Norland x VH Ramis x Fageno)

VH Nader continues as a proof leader in the strong VikingHolstein bull line-up. He has outstanding NTM +43. Great genetic level with high production in a nice combination with health and fertility. Definitely a bull to consider.

VH Nader breeds super production with index 133 with progress both in milk but also in components with fat % at index 116, protein % at 123, and a strong persistency at 107.

In addition to a super production he also breeds progress in reproduction with calving ease at 115 and female fertility at 106. In the health traits, the udder health is at 107 and hoof health at 109.

His dam, the VH Ramis daughter, has not calved in yet. She has been flushed multiple times as a heifer and VikingGenetics has purchased five sons from her including two red Holstein. The VH Ramis daughter is a red carrier.

Her Fageno dam is a chapter of her own being the first Danish heifer to enter the VikingEmbryos program where the VH Ramis daughter was conceived. She is from the herd of Kim Fagerlin in Tjele, Denmark and now has an average production of 13,900 kg milk with 4.72 in fat %, 3.49 in protein % and classified VG87. Her own first calf was the top selling VH Don Red.

VH Bosman

NTM +34 proven
(Balisto x G-Force x D Limbo)

If your goal is to achieve higher production without compromising on health traits, then the daughter proven proof leader VH Bosman is a bull to take a closer look at.
By using VH Bosman in your herd, you will add a lot of production potential to your cows. He is an excellent production bull with a production index at 134. This is a combination of high volume (milk index at 123) and lots of kilos fat and protein (fat index at 130 and protein index at 133).

With such a production potential, it is quite impressive that he can breed average reproduction and positive health, where especially udder health is good (108). Feet and legs are strong (117) and the daughters are nice to work with due to fast milking speed (109) and fine temperament.

All this is based on information from more than 4,200 milking daughters leading to a high reliability in the indexes.

VH Bosman's dam has an average production of 11,300 kg milk with 4.35 in fat % and 3.67 in protein %. She is classified VG88.

VH Bosman is bred at the herd of Søren Ernst Madsen in Tirsvad, Denmark.
